Pastor Hannah grew up in Eastern Nebraska outside of Omaha, where her family was active at Blair First United Methodist Church. During high school her family moved to the Seattle area where they attended Faith United Methodist Church in Issaquah, Washington. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, where she majored in Religious Studies before earning her Master of Divinity degree from Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, California. She is presently licensed as a local pastor in the Pacific Northwest Conference of the UMC.
Pastor Hannah has been involved with various ministries through college and during her Masters work. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a middle school ministries intern with the Salem-Keizer United Methodist Churches. She also spent her summer breaks volunteering with A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP), where she worked and volunteered in Yellowstone National Park. During her seminary years, she interned with Spearfish United Methodist Church in Spearfish, South Dakota, where she established a Creation Care team and participated in music ministries regularly. She is passionate about justice for the earth and all its people, as well as ecumenical ministries and interreligious relationship building.
Pastor Hannah is in her first appointment here at Moran United Methodist Church, effective July of 2023.
Pastor Hannah lives in the Moran Prairie neighborhood with her cat, Bug, and her puppy, Maple.
